Is a 4 Pos spring shorter than a 6 POS one? I don't know if the tube is smaller. I ordered this: buffer spring For my RRA M4 type stock. But it's shorter than the one I had originally. About an inch or so. I didn't measure because it was enough to so, HEY. BUT, also, it was copper in color instead of Grey. So I wasn't sure if maybe there were different kinds of springs, that may differ in length and be OK in the 6 POS tube. I thought there was a spec as to how long they should be and either the one I have is too long, or the new one is too short, or made for another type of Stock. Obviously, the maker on the spring I ordered is different than the maker of my AR, but I didn't think that should make a difference. Oh, and BTW, I did email them already and didn't recieve an answer, as of yesterday. So I thought I'd come on here and see what you all think. I'm not mad that they didn't answer, I just figured you guys might know too. Hopefully, they will respond to me though. Thanks for the help. |

Its 10 3/4 inches copper ISH looking But when I took it outside in the FL sun it looks like tarnished steel Plus its dirty it has under 3000rds fired Its a Tad bit stronger than my Bravocompany coil spring You can Email VLTOR and asked them what type it is? I bet they are Quality Even though mu BACK UP LMT M4 runs 100% I didnt like how strong the spring was/is Plus the ejection wasnt like my Factory LMT IF you want it free I will send it to ya IM me |
