Sorry, I just switched stocks and i'm confused. Does the rifle length buffer HAVE to be used with the 20" upper and the H buffer in the 16" upper, or do the different buffers correspond to the A2  stock and collaspable stock?

If you can't understand the above gibberish i'll try again. If I put a 20" upper on a collapsable stock equiped lower, should I keep the H buffer in , or switch to a rifle buffer.

You use the buffer that corresponds with the stock you are using, regardless of barrel length.

In your case, you will be using a carbine buffer in your telestock.

Thanks for the info. I was stumped. Actually I thought the springs were the same until I had both stocks off and compared.
