[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Buffer ?

I built my first, and so far only, AR with a 20" bbl and rifle gas. The lower has a spikes T2 buffer in it, which is 4.1 oz I think.

I'm building another upper - this upper is 16" with mid length gas. There is no muzzle device on it or planned.

Am I going to get away with my T2 buffer using this upper?

Got it out today. Worked fine. Ran 60 rounds through it today, no problems, bolt locked back on empty mags every time.

You should have no problem with your ST-T2, it's what I run in all my rifles both carbine and midlength and they run great.
