I've been thinking of putting a new stock on one of my carbines. I want to know will the milspec buffer tube fit any lower? I see the CTR and there's one for commercial and one for milspec tubes. I understand that I just wasn't sure if the differences in tubes cause a problem with different lowers.

The threads are the same size no matter which tube you get. The commercial tube uses a slightly larger tube and has the threads cut into it.

Just make sure you get the right stock to go with the tube. Either mil-spec or commercial.

I was thinking that was the case but didn't want to waste the cash and find out differently.
