After few years of being out of AR game I'm back, woohoo!
Just ordered a blem lower & have an A1 stock & various odds/ends around.
My question is what buffer do you run with A1 stock?
Also have 3 different buffer springs but dont know how to tell whats what, is there a way?

You only have one choice...rifle buffer.
Make sure that your RE and spring are also rifle.
Components from the carbine system do not interchange.

Carbine length springs are appox 11"-12" long if I recall correctly.

Rifle length springs are a bit longer than carbine springs.
