| Lost my buffer retainer spring some how today. I ordered a replacement but was wonder if anyone had any suggestions for a temp fix so I can still go shooting tomorrow. |

Just pull the buffer retainer out of the rifle, and when you go to close the upper down on the lower, push the buffer back until the carrier can clear it.
When the upper is closed, the back of the carrier pushes the buffer back away from the the pin (the retainer just keeps the buffer back in the tube when you open the rifle). But make a note to your self when you go to clean the gun afterwards, hence catch the buffer when you go to shotgun the upper back open. |
