Went to the range today for a little fun. I put 200 rounds thru my Pistol that I'm still breaking in. Out of the 200 rounds, I had 2 failure to go into battery. I just barely had to touch the forward assist to fix this problem.....everything is still pretty tight.

When I got home, I stripped everything down to clean it, and when I pressed the extractor pin out, it was in 2 pieces.

Anyone else ever have that pin break? I had a spare in the parts bin, and it is back together. Just seamed like an odd pin to break.

It is a very odd thing to occur, and while I would keep a atch on that part, I think that a problem was there from the beginning.  I mean simple a bad pin.  This should not re-occur.

That's what I figured.
I plan to take it out again, and I will be keeping an eye on it for the next couple cleanings (of course, I take it apart each time I clean it....).
