I have an AR-15 that will not hold the bolt back.  I have changed the bolt release, detent and spring but the rifle will not still lock the bolt back.  What have I missed?

Cheers Joe

Manually? Or after the last round?

It took some time but I figured out the problem.  It was the lower receiver extention tube/buffer tube.  I had a fixed stock on my rifle and the buffer tube would not allow the buffer to go all the way into the tube.  I changed it out with a collasping stock I had.  Now I need to find a good source for a mil-spec tube.  The reason I've never notice I had a problem is because I have been using a 22lr kit.

Cheers, Joe
