A friend of mine chronographed some Blue Box BH 75gr OTM from his LMT 16" 1:7 twist  upper and reported the velocity was around 2400 fps. The fragmentation chart shows the velocity should be more like 2630. My friend checked his Chrono with some IMI M193 and it was around 3100 fps.  Anybody else had results like this? If this velocity is correct, BH 75 gr OTM would offer no advantage in fragmentation distance compared to XM193. Heck it might even have a shorter fragmentation distance.

Double check the chrono data, and then shoot ammo from the same box/case in a different rifle (16" or close).

BH75gr reman should shoot over 2500fps from a 16"-- closer to 2550, or maybe 2600 in a "fast" barrel.
