I have a DPMS .308 which is starting to really group well.  It is my duty sniper rig and I am looking for better trigger.

I have had the factory trigger worked by Bill Springfield and it is good but I still feel that the trigger is limiting me.  I prefer a two stage but am open to all options.

Since it is a duty gun realiability and safety have to be factored in.  I want a very crisp break and consistent pull.

The new CMMG looks interesting but what would everyone recommend?

I really like my Bill Springfield trigger, but the 2 stage SSA combat Gieselle trigger from ADCO (runs $145) is supposed to be superb.

I had a tweaked RRA NM 2 stage in mine.  I thought it was too heavy.

Then  put in a Geiselle adjustable 2 stage in there.  I have the second stage down to about a 1/2 of a pound. It is AWESOME!!

If you really want that adjustability, the CMMG is a very good trigger, I really like mine.  More than my RRA.  Still, the Geiselle is tough to top.

I got an email back from CMMG and their specs are 2.5 lbs for the first stage and 5.5 lbs for the second.  They said the break is extremely crisp.

As nice as it sounds, I think I am going with the Geiselle.  Does anyone know of somebody that has one in stock?

I have the Timney in mine and I like it a lot. I have a Jewell in my Bushmaster, and that is a great trigger as well. The Giselle would have to come with a bj for me to spend that kind of cash.

I heard Larue had soem Geissele's in stock but it is the high speed version and those cost more but worth every penny! You might check with them first....

If you want a trigger you can adjust to incredibly light, then Geissele is the one.

If you don't want a trigger that light, there are many other good choices.

Jewell trigger. I been using them for over 10 years and KNS none rotating pins made even better. That's IMHO.

Thanks to all that helped.  I ordered  Geisselle today from Larue.  It should be here Friday and I should get a chance to shoot it this weekend.

I got my gun back from the gunsmith today and the Geiselle is a sweet trigger.  I should be able to shoot it on Friday.  Thanks again.

Got to shoot it on Firday and I was not disappointed.  I only got to shoot five rounds and the group was not as tight as I hoped, but it was so easy to shoot.  I was real pleased to see the consistency of the group and the single shot as I usually struggled with consistency.  The four shot group was right at 1 inch, perfectly centered around the point of aim and the single shot his point of aim within 1/4 inch.
