I appreciate all the help on the ARs. Before buying them I upgraded my handguns and ammo for personal defense. Unfortunately, I did not know about this site. I have read the pinned thread and taken notes but I still have questions. I would prefer less recoil than my Corbon ammo but want the best performance. There was mention of 4th generation ammo. The guns are:

.38 snubbie
- It seems the Speer 135 gr +P JHP Gold Dot (53921) was recommended but I saw a note about problems with primer ignition.

.357 Airweight/short barrel
- ???

.357 full size (? 4" barrel)
- Winchester 180 gr Gold JHP (S357P)

9 mm Glock (? 17 full size)
- Winchester Ranger T 147 JHP

Any help/suggestions/updates?
