Does anyone know how much weight difference there is between an M4 barrel and one of the "light-weight" 16 inch barrels?  I'm thinking of putting together a lightweight upper...
TIA

Barrel weights are at bottom, IIRC.

Thanks for the link, Mike.  That is a great site that I also visit often.  Am I missing something? I didn't see the lightweight or pencil barrel listed in the weight comparisons. I'm very much a noob, so help me out here if I just don't know what I'm lookin' at. :)

While Forest is the guy I'd ask to be absolutely sure, here's the one I took for the 16" light-weight:
16 ++ A1 2.0 , (with the A1 indicating lightweight barrel)

My 16" post ban Light Weight measured in at 1 lbs 15 oz.  Your saving around 5oz / 0.3 lbs.  Remember your saving that weight at the end of the barrel so it will feel like your saving even more (lever effect of having the weight on the end of the barrel).

That is correct - use the 16" A1 barrel (I just added in a LW nomenclature to remind people).
