| Seems to me like I have picked a great time to build a rifle all of the parts that I want turn out to be out of stock. The worst is my barrel I won't get that for probaly 3 months. Anyone else sad? |
| Well im getting my barrel from Krieger and I don't really want to buy from anyone else so I have to wait 3 months for that and my stock and lower are going to take about month so it's not really a huge deal. I just wish i could get it all now so I can have a new toy you know? |
| I can understand your desire to have a Kreiger barrel. I have one myself and its great. That said, I have found barrels as good if not better. I now have several Shilen barrels and they all shoot into one hole at 100yds. I got mine from Midway. They are 24in. stainless steel, 1 in 8 twist, .223 with Wylde chamber. I shoot 77grn., Black Hills ammo and I could not do better if I shot my own reloads. If you can stand to wait it will be worth it, if you can't then I think Shilen will do what you want.
