The problem is with this S&W M&P flattop.

With a laser pointer bullet in the chamber I zeroed the scope with the laser at 25m no problem. Scope is on this riser.

I take off the riser with the scope and put on UTG BUIS sights.

With UTG BUIS (front and rear) POA is about 6" high at 25m when rear sight is all the way up and front sight post is all the way down. Doesn't the rear sight go on the picanny rail while the front sight go on the gasblock? It's all the same height. Am I missing something? Does the rear sight go on a riser like the scope?

Thanks,

Shok

Yes, rear sight installs directly to the receiver rail, not the riser.

Have you adjusted the front sight post upwards to lower the shot????
Is so, and have run out of room to take the post up farther (Post collar base above the base of the FSB top) then you need a .040 longer sight post to solve the problem.

Bushmaster sells the longer sight posts for under $10.
