| what is the cheapest price way BUIS i can get? i dont want to risk quality. i would like to spend between 40-50 shipped and brand new if possible. let me know if this is possibly. what companys u reccomend? |
i was just about to ask this question. id like to know also. i think we are both looking for something that is truly only for back up. |

There is nothing brand new that I know of that fits your requirements ($50 or less AND quality). YHM runs about $75 from BrightFlashlights on the EE, and is the least expensive QUALITY BUIS that I know of. There is no need to worry about purchasing used. That's about the only way you're going to get close to your mark. Just ask for pics and check feedback before purchasing. I just purchased a used YHM A1 folding BUIS off the EE for $55 for a 9mm plinker, and I'm very confident it will be just fine. The best rear sights start around $90 new, and can be found for $70-ish used. Check the tacked BUIS thread at the top of this forum for a list of most BUIS' available. EDITED TO ADD: I see Harv beat me to it, and USMC even went to the trouble of makin' it hot.
