I would like some advice on a scope mount that can be installed and removed without losing zero. If I had my choice it would be QD system and it must be able to run with BUIS. Is there anything out there other than Larue that will suffice for the task at hand? I am not opposed to Larue, in fact it is my preference and will just save for that system if there are no alternatives. So does anyone out there know of anything else that may be able to accomplish repeated scope install and removal while staying at zero???

LaRue, Bobro, ADM are the mounts I have used that return to zero. There are a number of others that come damn close, and still others that probably do return to zero. I can only speak for the three I listed.

Why get anything else? You already know the answer on this one. LT is the way to go on this. They have the QD mounts and the new VFZ mounts that will save ya $50 or so on the mount. You have heard the saying before " Buy once cry once" Can not go wrong with LT! Not only that but the " you aint happy we aint happy!" customer service helps!

I think the saying goes,
"If LaRue is an answer, than LaRue is THE answer."

I think that is very accurate. I always seem to investigate the cheap way then end up going the more expensive (see:right) way. Thanks for the advice.

I'm not exactly HSLD when it comes to...well...anything I guess. That said, the LaRue Aimpoint mounts I'm running will return to zero every freaking time.

I was always under the impression that something mechanical should show at least *some* deviation, but these don't. It's like black magic, witchcraft, or some other kind of sorcery that I'll never understand.
