Which factory round, on the average, have you found to be most accurate in a 1-8" 20"> barrel?  Includes BH Re-man.

I have shot the 75 gr. OTM with great results out of a 1/8.  68 gr. is good too.  They are all good.

Don't ask us, ask your barrel.

Yep - every barrel is different.  You need to get some and shoot them.  For long ranges, on wind drift alone, you wiill find 75 and 77 group better.

At 100yds, that might be a *slightly* different story.  My RRA 20" 1:8 groups BH 77smk's the best.  I can consistently get .5", averaging somewhere between .5 and .75.

Second best in the above choices (for my barrel) would be the 75 and 68.  They grouped identical.... averaging .75 MOA.   Several .5" groups, but a couple just under 1MOA as well.

My barrel didnt like the BH 69SMK for some reason.  It averaged .9MOA.  A couple under .6, but no .5MOA groups at all.  I handloaded a bunch, and the results were exactly the same.

That being said... at 100yds, the Winchester white box value pack 45gr varmint loads also averaged about .75MOA, with several .5" groups.  It is worth looking at for closer shots.
