Do you have to purchase a lower for a flatop and a differant one for an A2 ect.

NO.  They use the same lower receiver.

Which show did you go to Lincoln or Fremont? I went to Lincoln and it was about the most lightly attended show I've seen. I was carrying some things around to sell to finance my AR project, but I got no interest.
