Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone put QD sling swivel mount on TOP of railed handguard?

Reason: I'm putting this on VIS monolith upper, and am using TD full panels; they cannot be slid off to the read because the panels would be essentially permanently attached, since the M-203 bolts would block removing the panel to the rear, and the sling mount would block them from sliding off the front end of the HG.

That sounds like a shitty place to mount a sling. Why not try a Blueforce Gear UWL if you can't find any other place to put a sling mount? Or just cut up the rail covers. Why do you need rail covers if you're using a M203? Aren't you just going to be gripping the grenade launcher when you shoulder the weapon?

lol I don't have an M203. The bracket just protects the barrel threads on the bottom.
