Get a new notchless hammer from DPMS. |

That is someone's boogered up job.
Throw it in file thirteen and get a new one. ETA: Was this someone's attempt to ramp a hammer for a 9mm instead of the bolt?

There's two problems there.
1) Rust on the hammer face. 2) Chipped hammer end. All in all you should just replace the hammer and be done with it. |

That rusty area only came out when I took the picture. It doesnt look like that with the naked eye. Anyways, the hammer is going to get replaced as soon as I can find a place that only sells small parts. |
