Opinions?

I'm looking at the Hawk model b/c it's in my modest price range, but the Raptor also looks nice.

Looks like an even simpler version of the Pride Fowler Rapid Reticle.

Anyone know the warranty?  I didn't find it in the owners manual (PDF download) on their site....but maybe I missed it.

Any insight is appreciated.

Sean

the scope is so big If I where going to get one I would go with the Talon model, But I would go with a Accupoint if I where gonna put a scope on my AR.. I would do it on a bench AR but I would not use a scope on a AR-15. only ACOG and EOTech/Aimpoint

Thanks.  I agree....I have Aimpoints on my AR15s in 5.56 and 6.8.  But, this is going on my new .308 AR from POF.   It's meant to be my distance gun so I need a good power scope.

Make sense?

Are you going with the illuminated reticle?

Because that would make it a keeper for me.

Can't afford it.....if I could, I'm not sure if I'd go Horus or IOR in the 6-24X50.

I'm looking at the Raptor ($945 retail)....and I'm splurging to get that....the Hawk at $499 is more in my price range to be honest.

No one?  Seems the Raptor at $950 has most everything I'm looking for:

FFP, side focus, 50mm objective, 30mm body, 16 max power, mil hash on glass, mil markings on turrets.....not sure about zero stop but the reticle design is supposed to limit how much you make adjustments anyway.

Horus Vision only has a 1 year warranty....on a $950 scope.

I'll pass.
