I replaced the stock LR-308 brake with it.  Have only shot it once.  Not sure if there's a huge reduction in felt recoil or noise though.
Maybe a little, I'll need to shoot it more to tell I guess.

If I had a barrel shorter than 16" and didnt plan to get a suppressor,  I would have purchased the BattleComp.

But I have a 16" and plan to eventually get a suppressor. So I opted for the AAC 51T Brakeout.

But if the barrel was 18" or 20", I would have purchased the AAC 51T Blackout.

have one on a 16 inch. seems to reduce muzzle rise but there is blast if you stand next to the shooter just like with the fsc30

The BABC works very well for what it is intended to do; they are our preferred muzzle device on unsuppressed 6.8 mm and 7.62x51mm rifles with 12-16" barrels.

i shouldn't think the recoil would be too bad on a 20" anyways.

my carbine is gonna be rather light at around 7 lbs.

Ya my 308 is almost 12lbs, mostly because of
the 12+ inch Troy rail on it and the longer barrel.

I've got a BC 2.0 on my AR15 though and so far no
noticeable difference in felt recoil from the FSC 556 that
was on it.  Very noticeable diff in noise tho.  It's not as loud
or concusive.

the battlecomp is pleasant to the shooter but not the other guy. someone who had an fsc30 already asked me and I told them to just stick with what they had.
