Just Curious.
Has anyone with access to a machine shop ever designed and/or machined their own AR parts or had them machined from somewhere like emachineshop.com? How did they turn out? Pics anyone?

I've done a few custom flash hiders and flash hider mods.  I'm also in the middle of making some custom low profile gas blocks.

I have a few ideas for some accessories and may be able to have them machined on UK's CNC mills.

Just wondering if anyone has done anyhting like this.

On homegunsmith.com I've seen full CNC lowers, lowers made from bolted together plates, and even a (mostly) stamped lower! Lots of other gun stuff too.

I've been to that site quite a few times, and all I can say is...Damn I wish I had my own shop!
