I haven't used that unknown brand gas block but I am willing to bet it works great as long as you seal it right.

Replay Shameless bump .. Just wondering if it iw wroth the 17.00 YHM is selling them for or shoule I go with a different one to replace my existing FSB.

If you are going to outfit one of those mid-length or rifle-length handguards and optics then ok ur good to go, but otherwise I'd stick with the existing FSB or go for a clamp up style that has the sling swivel and a rail...assuming you don't intend to cover up the gas block with a rail system.

I've used one on my SPR-ish set up, and while its only got about 100 rounds down the tube so far I haven't had any issues. Compared to the $60 most other places charge for what seems to be the same thing, $17 seems like a good deal to me.
