Low. They're often on sale for under $40. They get mixed reviews but a lot of Anderson lowers are sold.

Just wondering why it's important. Are you considering putting a $10K  RDIAS in a $40 lower?

Why not?  I would, if it runs ok, find a registered one and you are good to go, I am glad I don't have to as I own legal M16's but it does not matter if it is a $40 lower as long as the legal parts fit it.

Just wondering that's all. I do have a RDIAS, I think it's more versatile than a registered lower as I can swap into different lowers. Just never considered an Anderson. I bet that would turn heads though. I had a HK sear (Flemming) that I sold back in 89, what an idiot

I'll buy your RDIAS for $12K

Just picked up an Anderson lower for an "on the cheap" trunk gun build.  Was surprised to see that it has the low shelf.  Overall fit and finish was better than expected, too.  Pleasantly surprised.

Maybe I've just gotten lucky with Anderson but of the 7 or so AR's I've built on Anderson lowers, all fit and function great. So good in fact that I was confident enough in them to register 4-5 as SBR's.

Don't get me wrong, they'll never be as nice as my Noveske Gen III's or BCM's but I'll be damned if they don't work just fine.

$10K? Yeah, like 10 years ago. Try $20-30K+ in todays market. But yeah, to echo what has been said.. Anderson's are low shelf.

30 years ago, it would've been an $18 rdias.  It's all how you look at it.

Mine works just fine.  I have been testing my Pmag60 on it.  I really like that one piece trigger guard.  I wish all my lowers had that feature.  I have 9 spare Andersons.  I will probably get more on Black Friday.

The Fostech trigger requires a low shelf, I think.  Gotta make sure the bases are covered.

I don't know about the Franklin Armory trigger.
