Picked up an Anderson lower for 50 bucks at my LGS. It says 556/223 instead of Multi on it. My spare parts bin is nearly full so I am planning another AR pistol build. All I need is a barrel. I want to build a 300 Blackout because I am planning on buying a suppressor for another build and would like to be able to swap back and forth. So can I still build a 300 blackout? I don't think this lower is any different than one marked "MULTI". I will have to get the caliber engraved once I SBR it but that's not a problem.

It will work just fine. It's the same as a multi marked lower, just has different markings.

You don't even have to engrave 300blk to SBR it.
