I just mounted a scope to my 16” chrome lined barrel, 1/9 twist. Firing done at 25 yards for now. I fired some XM193 thru it. Groups were pretty good considering I was only shooting 25 yards. I know that I am not going to one hole it at 100 yards with this barrel/ammo combo.

Am I better off using Black Hills 55 gr blue box for a 100 accuracy test OR am I out of luck because of the chrome lined barrel.

Unless your really shooting a double barreled AR15 there, suspect tha BH 69grn. SMK will get ya the best accuracy, (I'm assuming your twist is 1/9, however if it's a 1/7 twist barrel the BH 77grn. SMK rounds will probably group better).

you can still get good accuracy out of a chrome lined barrel, just keep testing till you find it!
