I'm about to build a 9mm AR but i would like to know what the differnet mag choices are out there.
I know of Sten mags. The Oly arms Glock mags. What others are out there and which one do you think is the best. Thanks! m.

Colt system, which means Colt or RRA...and Colt mags. Anything else is a compromise.

well, the Colt version uses Uzi mags, modified with a new mag cut. They don't hold open on the last round though.

ok, i know i'm getting ahead of myself but what about a mag well conversion to work with Sten mags?
www.quarterbore.com/ar15m16/colt2stenmags.html Would this work with the RRA magwell adaptor? Not that i'm going to do the above but i'd like to know all my options. I don't mind milling some things. m.

The Colt CAN use Uzi mags, but it works better with original Colt mags. They do actuate the bolt stop. |
