Picked up a couple of M68 aimpoints with missing control knobs.......looked high and low for a replacement to no avail......
So I made some......still gotta cerokote 'em cause I'd have to make a couple of hundred to make anodizing cost effective..... But I thought it turned out pretty good....

But I am sure beyond a shadow of a doubt your work is just as precise as factory. By your name you are a machinist and you guys are perfectionists! I am to but I am no full time machinist I am a gunsmith. |
Thanks....took a little longer than I'd hoped....cycle time on these was about 4 minutes as we parted off blanks on the lathe did 'em on a Haas VF2, If I have a broach made we could do one about every 45 seconds..... but I don't see anyone beating my door down for these in the hundreds....... I could be wrong....
