Obviously I don't know much about this stuff ...yet. Couple years ago I bought what I now know to be a red dot scope. Im trying to figure out if it is a decent quality red dot? On the 30mm scope tube it says "Qwik Point by Weaver" and nothing else. Its about 5" long without the sun shade. It has a single red dot with 11 brightness settings, no magnification and of course elevation & windage turrets. It came with rings for weaver type mount. Im wondering if this is something that would be used on an AR? What is this type of scope for. After useing it on a 6.5" barreled revolver I figure it's for quick target aquistion out to 50 yards. Connecting the holes at 25 yards even from a rest was gratifying for me. Ang. B. |
