These were a couple of builds of several I did this week but these were both pretty unique and thought you guys might like to see some different directions some folks are going
This is a 7.0 chrome lined CMMG barrel. 1:7 the customer supplied along with his upper. I assembled it and added the DD 7.0, a LaRue gas block and the Noveske Krink flash hider. I test fired it on one of my M16A2 lowers. The lack of muzzle blast was astounding on an upper this short.
On full auto the cyclic rate was very consistant. I feel this is due to the increased back pressure from the Noveske KFH. The lower I used had no fancy buffers, just a standard H buffer and spring. 100% reliable with Q3131A.
This second upper is also interesting. I supplied all the parts on this one. The barrel is a Noveske 14.5 AFGAN shorted so that with the Phantom it comes to 16.25" pinned and welded. The rail is a LaRue 13.2 with a LaRue gas block, LMT M16 BCG and a PRI Gasbuster charging handle.
I really like the look of this one and it will be one accurate CQB Upper. It is pictured on one of my lowers as is the super shorty above.
I am sure the guys who comissioned the builds will be posting better pics. These were shot in my office, at night with just the camera's flash. Damn I gotta get a bigger flash for the hotshoe on the camera as the pics do not do these builds justice.
Bombers custom build. I just did the upper, Bomer did the rest including the ass kickin' cammo job. Hat's off to Bomber
