Ok...MSTN and all you other guys out there who build a lot of ARs.
Who wants to make me a special edition AWB Sunset Commemorative Edition M4? This could be a GREAT marketing venture for you guys...anyone put any thought into anything like this yet? Plans could be drawn up on it and if it DOES sunset, production could start on September 15th! (How much would you pay for SN#000001?  Man, oh MAN would I love to have a keepsake, collapsible stock, flash hider, bayonet lug, pistol grip weilding beauty with some artwork on the side that speaks to the tune of ...in your face! I am visualizing artwork with a setting sun and something along the lines of "AWB Sunset Special Edition" on the right side of the mag well. Something a lot better design but along the lines of this...  Come on guys,....input... Put me down as customer #1..who else would be interested? |

Any chance it could COME with a bayonet too??? And definitely diggin the M4 model. Now if we can keep it reasonablly priced...so that say, I don't know...a college kid paying for it himself could afford it...Now that would be sweet!! Great idea though[50] |

I would buy one but only if it'll be kept cheap and sold as a stripped lower.
I dont think it's worth twice (or more) as much for a lower. I would rather build my own anyway, too meny calibers and different combinations of parts to make one everybody wants. |

Any sunset commemorative rifle should absolutely come with a hi-cap mag, bayonette, adjustable stock and flash hider!

My .02 would be to make it a receiver run only.
It would make SO many get in on it as it can have all the features everyone wants! Every groupbuy he wants this and she wants that. This way everyone gets what they want. At a great price. Im thnkin postban lower plus engraving with group buy quantity? No excuses to not get in on that one! Right? |

A commemorative AWB rifle made before the ban sunsets, if it is reinstated or extended, would be like celebrating the success of the Apollo 13 mission before it launched.
All they have to do is vote to amend the act by removing the sunset clause. If they attach this as a rider to a crime bill or homeland security bill that is sure to pass both houses of congress, it will slip by and there will be little we can do about it except make our opinion known. A commemorative AWB rifle AFTER it sunsets, as MarineSniper8541 suggested, now that would be nice. |
