I am not an AR-15 expert, nor am I an AWB expert. I own 1 AR-15 that I purchased a few years ago to remind me of the days that I spent in the army. I have a post-ban RRA lower mated with a colt upper (appears to be an M-16a2 upper) which has had the bayonet lug ground down and the flash suppressor replaced with a compensator. (I bought this at a gun show in Texas as a complete rifle).

My question is, as the AWB goes away, does this mean that I can legally replace my current upper with a new upper that has the dreaded bayonet lug and ominous flash suppressor?

Thanks for your input.
