It looks like nearly everyone is on a 12+ week backorder. I've checked with Del-ton, J&T, Model 1, and M&A.
Everyone else have the same issue? Any ideas?? |
welcome aboard and good luck, if you want to be ass-raped you can buy off the EE from an individual that bought parts to sell, or order a rifle kit from your choice of J&T, Del-ton, and M&A and just wait like everyone else. i know it sucks but this is what the black-rifle realm has come too

Maybe I'm in the wrong business and need to start carrying AR parts... ;-) Well damn. I knew ammunition was hard to come by after the election but had no idea that it had transferred over to AR parts as well. Guess I'll keep looking... |

Gun Show with someone who knows what to look for.
The Princeton, IL show this weekend had PLENTY of somewhat reasonable prices on assembled uppers, stripped lowers and parts. I was able to get a Rock River mid length, stainless bbl, w/ BCG for $550 (Correct marked upper and barrel part stamped). Checked the website and it is $540 on the RRA site. They also had RRA .458 SOCOM's on the table for around $750. Had maybe 15 uppers left at day end Sat. M&A parts (I assume the lady was wearing an M&A jacket) also had a table and had a bunch of uppers in stock complete w/ BCG from $495 up. Around 20 uppers left at end of day Sat. They also had a whole table of parts with plenty in stock. I am an AR newb, but it did not appear to be the typical gun show raping and price gouging at those two tables. Better yet I was able to walk out with an upper and no wait. It was worth paying sales tax for me not to have to wait. |
