It depends on the load you're shooting..., but with all other things being the same you can figure the 24" will get you about 120 FPS more velocity than the 20"

Something like 3050fps for M855 and 3250+fps for M193. I think M193 typically is a bit hotter though and really ends up being in the 3300-3350 range.
A lot of it’s going to depend on temperature and such. Edit: Sorry, just noticed you were asking for how much extra velocity you get out of a 24" barrel. Nevermind |

Probably 80-120 feet per second, with hot loads. Probably less with light loads.
Stated velocity of M193 from a 20" barrel is like 3250 or so. |
