Im in the early stages of building a 308 AR 10 Pistol.

I want the partial KX3 covered look.

I'm going to purchase a 16" barrel, cut it to 10.5", thread it  5/8x24, and install a KX3

Issue is, I cant find a AR10/DPMS LR308 rail that has a large enough inside diameter. Looking for 1.8" ID (Seekins BAR rails work great for the AR15s)

Any suggestions?

Also, I dont need to hear the bullshit of why I'm building it, ballistic hoopla or the "waste of ammo" speech. I have a 300 black out, and a 7.62x39 pistols so no other caliber suggestions!

You want to partially shroud the KX3, I take it?

I think SWS will work with their AR10 rails, but I would call them first.
