The ARMS 19/19s mounts the compacts too low, because they are low to begin with. ARMS has been advised that there would be interest in a spacer for compact ACOGs, but no news that such an item will be made.

Trijicon makes a mount for the Compact ACOG. I am currently using it.
Its not perfect, its weight is higher than it needs to be, and there is a bit extra material on the ends - enough that it prevents the scope from being mounted up against my ARMS #40 (for better eye releif). The height is good, and the nuts for the mount are captive, and it repeats zero very well. |

The compact ACOG mount is the #19ACOG. I drilled and tapped my compact for a second screw.
I was using the mount on a flat top FAL back before I got my AR's into California. Now it's lost in the pile of junk somewhere (the mount not the FAL). |
