What ranges are people zeroing there # 40 L sights at. I have zeroed mine at dead-on with large apeture @ 25 yrds. Is this a good zero ? I want to shoot 0 - 400 yds out of a RRA CAR A4 Middy

Zeroing at 25 yards is a horrible zero.  Rezero that thing at 50y.

Look at the chart above.

The dark blue track is someone who zeroed at 25y with M193.  Notice how HIGH that track goes?  A little over 10" high at 200y.  Yeah you're only 2" low at 400y - but how many targets do you have at 400?  At 100y you're round is 6" and still rising!

Now look at the yellow track.  That is the 50y IBSZ.   The round stays withing 2" of the point of aim out to 260 yards or so.  That kind of precision allows you to hit what you aim at with extream confidence.  At 300y you're only 6" low.  Yeah you won't be hitting at 400y w/o either lots of offset, or you can get a range adjustable sight (like the KAC 600M or the LMT).
