Can I use heavy/long bearing surface bullets in an AR10 pattern rifile?

I have lots of 175's, 190's and 208's I was hoping I could use but do I need to keep it down in the 147gr range?

As long as it fits in a magazine (nominally 2.830 +/- .030") it will fire and function.  Since there's no piston or rod it should work fine.

Stick to medium-speed powders -- too slow (like Hornady Superformance) and you risk ripped rims and blown primers.
