I normally do my research before I buy something but I wasn't as thorough on this buy. I have a DPMS A-15 Carbine, and I bought and ACOG TA31RCO A4CP for it. Now after reading the specs it states that it was designed for a M16A4. I am looking for advise on keeping it or not?  I was told that the only real difference between the A4CP and M4CP is the drop compensation markings.

See this thread. Find your model ACOG, your barrel length, mounting choice, and load. Sight in per the thread. Keep your ACOG!

the BDC is not 100% accurate even if you get the right ACOG for the right AR.
Keep your ACOG and have fun with it
