my Bushmaster AR15A2 rear sight has a lot of play and when i switch apertures it tends to move its POI a couple inches, it also does not sit straight on the receiver(here is a pic of what i mean) And when adjusting elevation I get to about 4 it than stops moving and us very hard to move the ring it after 7 or 7 clicks it it will jump up to where it seems like it should be.
is there any way i can fix this? |
| Cant on the A2 rear is normal (some have more than others and that one is about as canted as they get). It's under spring tension and will return to the same spot if moved. Also, you will always have a POI shift in elevation when charging the apertures, since they are not on the same plane. |
