I'm building another upper receiver for my AR and when I go to screw on the suppressor it doesn't feel right.  It gets hand tight and still lacks almost 300 degrees before it is where it is supposed to be.  I know I must put it in a vise and touqe it tight but is this to much.  My question is "will the crush washer withstand that much pressure?" I would appreciate any feed back.

If I remember correctly, you have another full turn or two after the FH initially snugs up fingertight against the washer. I've never needed anymore than that, myself.

Don't know spec.'ed torque value, but elbow grease, a crescent wrench, and masking tape haven't failed me yet.
