So I'm organizing stuff to go to Victor and I decide to put a rear sight on an A1 upper.  I come up one roll pin short for the number of assemblies I have.  I figured I'd add one to the next Midway order.

However, earlier I took apart some trigger guards to send to Victor and discovered the roll pin used for the trigger guard detent/spring is the same one for the sight assembly.

Now I know most of you know this already, but hey, I discovered it on my own and I'm happy - it doesn't take much.

Got any other common springs, roll pins ideas:

Safety Spring = Ejector Spring
Trigger Guard Roll Pin = F/A Roll Pin
Gas Tube Roll Pin = ?????

Firing Pin = 16d nail..........ok, maybe not.

My Dad told me he made a firing pin out of a nail for his .22 back in the 30's when he was a kid and the original broke. He said it wasn't good for very many shots.
