Will A1 handguards fit over a mid length barrel?
the barrel has a low profile block with FSB set
at rifle length dissipator.

If you have a triangle front cap, it probably will. This is what I did with my .458 Socom, and it has a .993 then .936 diameter barrel up to the midlength position with carbine length gas. I moved my front sight base forward to the rifle position, and had room underneath for everything.





And nope, those handguards were not modified
