Want to replace my case deflector buffer on a 9MM Rock/River Carbine. What is the procedure to do this? Does the delta ring come off and slide the dust cover pin forward? Anyway asking before I make a simple job difficult.

The pin is held in place by a small (very, very small) “c” clip on its delta ring end.  You can pull the barrel and remove the pin towards the front or you can remove the “c” clip and remove it towards the rear, your choice.  If you decide to remove the “c” clip, make sure you are working in a area that when you drop it, you can find it again.  I lost one once on a concrete floor (no idea how that’s possible) and still haven’t found it.

Umm, I asked the same question about the gas deflector. It is called a gas deflector? Right? Any ways glad to see some information on this weather it's here or on my thread.

Yep, lost it. 40 mins looking for it and my fiance comes down and finds it 1 min. Go figure.
