I was wondering if once I'm Finished milling everything out, can I just cerakote it and not worry about andonizing it? Just a thought

yup.

or duracoat, or alumahyde, or molyresin, or any of the other finishes out there.  some apply thicker than others, and have different wear properties, with the trade-off that they're less hassle to apply.  do some research and figure out which will work best for you.

Ream the selector hole to .376 and the triggers to .156 if using Cerakote. I just coated my 80% a cpl weeks back.

Check out a member named braceman. He does a lot if custom parts and engravings for the retro guys.
But don't mill it first, he doesn't have a ffl, so he can't accept a stripped lower.

so anodizing the lower isnt required? hammer/trigger pin holes hold up fine without it?

the hassle of home anodizing has held me up on doing a couple 80% lowers

Cerakoting It is probably that least work Intensive way of coating/finishing your parts...Anodizing it is rather expensive since
one has to buy a lot of equipment and supplies to get a few lowers done with it....

My preference is Norrell's Moly Resin.  Sprays on nicely with an inexpensive airbrush, harder than hell after the oven bake, and resistant to all common solvents.  These are all 80% lowers I have done with MR.
