Want to know what the marking are?  My LEO 6920 says " Safe--Semi " is this the way the 6920's are? My others  non LEO guns i.e. 6920 and 7.62x39 are marked "Safe-- Fire"   BTW it is also marked Colt Mfg. not Colt Defense.  Please respond I gotta know.

Thanks in advance.

I know the LE Colts say Colt defense and not Mfg but I was not aware that they said semi instead of fire. It does make sense though. Considering the auto versions would say Safe, Semi and Auto. They just leave the auto off

Mine is marked "Colt Defense" with "safe" and "fire".  Maybe yours is a transition model?

I guess their stampings can vary. His is marked Colt Mfg, safe and semi. Yet RJK and dpmmn's are marked Colt Defense safe-fire. Yet the pic I posted in marked Colt Mfg safe and semi.

Being very new to the AR, I wouldn't even begin to know where to look for the answer to this question. Here goes, are all Colt LE6920 lowers marked 5.56?

The reason I ask is that I'm looking to buy my first AR and I want a pre-ban either gov't or LE marked 5.56. I live in 'The People's Republic of NY" so it's either preban or forget most of the high-speed goodies. Thanks in advance for any help. I hope I'm not out-of-order asking in this thread regarding 'Semi' VS 'Fire", I just didn't think this question warranted another thread on LE6920 markings.
