I have an old beat-up 604 upper with a banged up directional arrow. I ground off most of it already, so my options are either to go with a 601 or 602 conversion. I'll probably go 602 since I don't want to have to look for the furniture. Here is what I know will need to be done:
Engrave directional markings Square off back of upper above charging handle Square up area up ejection port rear lug to match slabside lower Do I need to remove the flash inside the handle and on the rear like you would with a 601? Is there anything I'm missing? Thanks in advance fellas. |
