Have seen many adds for 223 ammo, but the box in add shows 5.56 From what I understand reading this site, I can not/ should not use 5.56 in my 223 SP1. Is it reloaded to 223 Specs, or do they think its the same? Or don't they care? Thanks for your help, been bothering me.

It depends on the ammo if it's REAL 5.56. There isn't too much, if any, ammo that's labeled 5.56 but is actually SAAMI spec 223.

Who's the manufacturer of the ammo ? That's the only real way to tell for sure. If it's Winchester Q3131A, then it's definitely 5.56.
