This is my first build from scratch. Sorry for the iPOD picture but I have misplaced my camera. Stag stripped upper, S&W stripped lower, DPMS 11 1/2" heavy countor barrel with pinned and welded flash hider, A2 stubby stock. Great fill and balance for my short height and stubby armed body.

That is one pure "mutt" of a rifle.  How does it shoot?

"Mutt" I like that, I think you just named my rifle. You are right it has a little of everything.
I just finished putting it together last night and plan to shoot it this weekend or over the 4th.

DPMS 11 1/2" heavy countor barrel with pinned and welded flash hider from Model 1 Sales.
S&W stripped lower with Daniel Defense parts kit.

How was your experience with Model 1 sales, I heard they went down the toilet since December

The parts I ordered from Model 1 were ordered in Jan. and took about 4 weeks to get. In my experience I think Midway USA gave the best service through this Obamascare.
